A leading IoT supplier has named three regional sales team members for the student housing industry.
FREMONT, CA: SmartRent, an enterprise smart home and smart building technology platform for real estate owners, managers, and occupants announced today the addition of new team members to its student housing division.
Lillian Scholz, a regional sales executive for SmartRent, is one of three team members transitioning to student housing. Scholz just joined the SmartRent team after working as a staffing consultant for Beacon Hill Staffing Group's technology specialty business, which provides IT organizations with consulting and project management services.
Connor Blunt, a former inside sales expert with SmartRent's Alloy Smart Home line, is also joining the student housing sector. As a regional sales manager, Blunt will target his efforts on student housing projects after helping housebuilders shorten their sales cycles and increase prospect traffic through the deployment of SmartRent's self-guided tour platform.
As Sales Director, Matthew Godfrey will join the SmartRent student housing team. Matthew is a student housing sector veteran who formerly worked for a Fortune 50 firm specializing in managed WiFi and IoT. He's worked on several student housing renovations and portfolio deals across the country. Matthew is involved in the sales cycle from start to finish, focusing on NOI with SR and owners/developers.
"We're excited about the development of our student housing division, and also happy to announce the industry professionals who will be leading our expansion into the student housing sector," said CJ Edmonds, CRO for SmartRent. "The student demographic is incredibly responsive to technology and smart home innovations, and they expect to be able to manage their lives and their homes from their mobile devices.
